Kort Biografi

Komponist og pianist Alessandro Sgobbio utvider stadig sitt personlige vokabular for komposisjoner, improvisasjoner og spirituelle utforskninger gjennom musikken. Han har mastergrad fra Norges musikkhøgskole (Oslo) og fra Boito Conservatory of Music (Parma, Italia). Som musikalsk leder, komponist, pianist og produsent har han utgitt 14 album, og han har turnert i Europa, Kina og USA. I 2019 ga han ut albumet «Forests» med gruppen «Silent Fires», bestående av Karoline Wallace (vokal), Hilde Marie Holsen (trompet), Synne Garvik (dans) og Håkon Aase (fiolin). Med gruppen «Hitra» ga han ut albumet «Transparence» i 2021 sammen med Hilmar Jensson (gitar), Jo Berger Myhre (bass) og Øyvind Skarbø (trommer). Hans nye soloalbum “Piano Music 1” slapp i 2022, “Piano Music 2” i 2023. De fire nevnte albumene er alle utgitt/utgis på AMP Music & Records (Norge).
